Lowering the bar a bit further - an impossibility?

I think we've finally done it, America. We as a country have jumped the shark. We've achieved maximum relevance in the frame of history, and, like an old canceled sitcom, we have to make way for the next evolution of country-ness.

We have a leader who has proven time and time again that the rules not only don't apply to him, but that with a simple wave of his hand, he can make us forget that the rules ever existed. War crimes have been committed, due process has been subjugated, and around every turn, the bad guy is not only getting away, but he's thumbing his nose at the very foundations that this country is based on.

In the primary race for the Democratic HOPE, the candidates are now competing for the votes of Pennsylvania. And now this is going to be turned into a negative for Obama. He returned the donation from a registered lobbyist. GASP
